In pursuit of a special place.

“Everybody’s looking for that something, one thing that makes it all complete” (Westlife, 1999). A special place where one can rest, in the face of holiness, in pastures green and space unknown. A wonders deep hands that is the hope and calm of every storm (Bryon Cage, 2005). A special place when one need to get away alone, where one feel safe and can always show one’s face, a place of freedom where no one is ever judging (Lauren Orlando, 2019). A special place that when touched evokes feelings of happiness and love (The Whomping Willows, 2007). A special place most of us like to visit because we actually feel good being there and what we hear in that place has a lot to do with it (Sub Focus, 2007). A special place in every heart that beats, holding love that could cast it’s spell and consecrate people’s eyes (Stevie Wonder, 1979). A special place we’ve always dreamed of and long for, the Island of fantasy (Princess Ilona, 1997).

Sometimes the special places are found in the strangest places, places you never knew they could be. Some people find it in the face of their children, some in their lover’s eyes, some find it sharing every morning, some in their solitary nights, some find it in the deepest friendship they cherish for life. For some it’s waking up beside their lover and watching the sunrise on the lover’s face knowing that they can say “I love you” at any given time or place (Westlife, 1999). Some people experience it in the form of finding the greatest love of all inside self (Whitney Houston, 1986). Some find it worshiping and standing in the presence of the Lord (Bryon Cage, 2005). Some find it listening to great music (Sub Focus, 2007). For some, they are far away places where they can run and hide or chill (Jahcoustix, 2006). It can be home that we longed for (Princess Ilona, 1997).

When you find that special thing or place, it’s like you’re flying without wings. You can’t deny the joy it brings A simple line from the words of others can make you laugh or cry (Westlife, 1999). You will enjoy tranquil peace, your soul will find sweet relief and every storm in your life will cease (Bryon Cage, 2005). Every time you are there, you can feel it in your soul, you will feel safe, okay and free (Lauren Orlando, 2019). You can’t replace the love and happiness you are filled with when touched in that special place (The Whomping Willows, 2007). In the special place, the sounds are soothing, our pulse rate drops, our muscles relax and we feel at peace (Sub Focus, 2007). On those days, you may feel your mind is drifting away, you don’t care about anything and nothing matters at all (Jahcoustix, 2006).

In the pursuit of the special place, people are searching for a hero, people needing someone to look up to. In this search, some may never find anyone who fulfill their needs and can be a lonely place to be, so will need to learn to depend on and love self. If they fail or succeed, at least they will live as they believe, and no matter what they take from them, they can’t take away their dignity. They might need search deep within to find a way of easily achieving “the greatest love of all” of learning to love self. (Whitney Houston, 1986).

Sometimes, others may want to take your special thing or place away from you, you’ve got to fight hard for what is yours (Brandy and Monica, 1998). In this search, so impossible as they may seem, you’ve got to fight for every dream, ’cause who’s to know which one you let go would have made you complete (Westlife,1999). And if, by chance, that special place that you’ve been dreaming of, leads you to a lonely place find your strength in love (Whitney Houston, 1986).
